We all saw it coming. When this season's bachelors were told that they would be roasting their leading lady, Ashley Hebert, thousands of women across the country screamed "Nooooooo!" at their TVs and opened their umbrellas, waiting for the impending flood of tears. It was ugly, indeed, and poor Ashley endured not only cruel taunts about her A-cup but was crushed when early favorite Will decided he'd "joke" about being disappointed that last season's Emily or Chantal had not been chosen as the Bachelorette. Did we mention this drove her into dirtbag Bentley's arms?

After calling off her engagement with Andrew Firestone, Jen Schefft took her turn as the Bachelorette and stunned everyone when she exercised the good judgment rarely seen on reality shows and picked no one in the finale. She went on to find love off-camera.

Ali Fedotowsky's season saw yet another bad boy in Justin "Rated R" Rego. Although Justin hobbled all the way to Ali's mansion on crutches in a grand romantic gesture, that wasn't enough to compensate for the fact that he had at least one, if not two, girlfriends at home. Tip: If you're going to lie about having a girlfriend, don't leave lots of voicemails for her while on a television show.

Ed Swiderski left Jillian Harris's season for work, but couldn't stay away. When Ed came back, Jillian was beside herself with happiness, despite his green short shorts. Although their union was short-lived, the unexpected return was one of the grander gestures in the series.

D-bag, thy name is Bentley. The producers gave way too much airtime to this jerk who freely admitted that he had no interest in current Bachelorette Ashley Hebert, didn't think she was attractive, and was going to make her cry. Also, Bentley, your hair didn't even look that good.

The season could have ended after the first-impression rose, as that's all the time it took for Ali Fedotowsky to fall for Roberto Martinez. By the finale and some canoodling in a heart-shaped lake, Ali knew Roberto was the only one for her and graciously let Chris Lambton go before he had to go through a proposal. Ali and Roberto are still going strong.

Jillian Harris was completely besotted by one-song wonder Wes Hayden despite the warnings of all her other suitors. After getting booted, Wes launched into a tirade in the reject limo, admitting he had a girlfriend back home and was using the show as a way to launch his career. Wes, "Love Don't Come Easy," but class sure does.

Trista Rehn was the inaugural Bachelorette and, so far, has the longest-standing marriage of the entire franchise. She accepted sensitive firefighter Ryan Sutter's proposal, and the couple married in a televised ceremony with so much pink it would have made Julia Roberts's character from Steel Magnolias extremely jealous.
