Before They Were Stars: Son of Richard and Clare Pattinson, Robert grew up in London and began a career as a model at age 12. When the jobs stopped coming, he turned to acting, playing various small roles in London. His first big film was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, in which he played doomed hottie Cedric Diggory.
Where Are They Now: Following Harry Potter, Pattinson booked the lead in Twilight, which launched his acting career and put him on the radar. Pattinson’s fans are most familiar with his portrayal of the sexy and sullen vampire Edward, but Pattinson has been expanding his repertoire with weightier roles in Water for Elephants and Remember Me, which he also executive produced.
