This short-lived Fox drama was a modern-day Romeo and Juliet and starred a young Wilde playing the daughter of a pornographer who falls in love with the son of the district attorney. It didn't last long, but that didn't stop Wilde from pursuing her dream.

Wilde's parents (both journalists) scored her an internship with a casting director, hoping to discourage her from the heartbreaking world of acting. Their plan didn't work, and after a few weeks on-set, Wilde was granted a small role in this teen comedy. Did you know she is a natural blonde?

Playing a member of a tight-knit Irish community wasn't a stretch for Wilde, a dual Irish and American citizen herself. Born Olivia Cockburn, Wilde chose her stage name because of her admiration for Irish poet/writer Oscar Wilde. We doubt she had to call on her knowledge of Irish literature for her role in this TV drama, which focused on four Irish-American brothers with ties to organized crime in New York's Hell's Kitchen.

Wilde gives a multifaceted portrayal of Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley on Fox's hit medical drama. A brilliant doctor, Thirteen has a self-destructive streak that finds its root in the Huntington's disease that she knows will kill her one day. Between talking back to House, sleeping with fellow doctor Foreman, and disappearing for long stretches of time, feisty Thirteen always keeps viewers on their toes.

Wilde burst onto the movie scene in a big way with one of last year's biggest blockbusters. After accepting the role, the well-known activist pushed for her character, Quorra, to be more of a warrior and less of a sex symbol. The Tron team agreed, and Wilde's Quorra was reshaped as powerful and strong; but she did have some sexy boots.

Wilde had to learn to shoot unwieldy guns and do a variety of stunts in order to play Ella Swenson in this summer's sci-fi western. In her interviews, she raves about how much fun she had filming the epic thriller. But who wouldn't, when you get to star alongside James Bond and Indiana Jones?
