Who could forget those springy curls and big, sparkling eyes? Felicity Porter, the title character of the show, was an intelligent but naïve girl who ditched her first school of choice and followed her longtime high school crush to New York to attend the fictional University of New York. From there, we see her blossom from an awkward freshman who recorded audio messages on her tape recorder to a more secure and confident young woman who dated two guys at once.

Keri Russell—Now

Russell has yet to snag a role as memorable as Felicity Porter in Felicity, but she has been working steadily as an actress since the conclusion of the show. Her most notable films include, Mission: Impossible III, the psychological horror film Grimm Love, 2007 Sundance Film Festival entry Waitress, the Adam Sandler flick Bedtime Stories, Extraordinary Measures, and Dark Skies. She is also set to appear next year in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the upcoming sequel to the 2011 film, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. As for television, Keri landed her first starring role in a TV series since Felicity in the FX spy drama, The Americans, which premiered in January.

Armed with goth-chic outfits, heavy eyeliner, and a sarcastic wit, Meghan Rotundi was the complete opposite of her roommate, Felicity. She was a strange, self-proclaimed Wiccan who often cast “spells” on Felicity and their friends at her leisure, and made snarky—but colorful—remarks to everyone. Despite her eccentricities, however, Meghan eventually became good friends with Felicity and found true love in Sean, whom she dated for almost the entire duration of the show before marrying him in Season 4.

Amanda Foreman—Now

Like her TV boyfriend Greg Grunberg, Amanda Foreman followed Felicity with a recurring role on Alias. Her other TV credits include guest roles on Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and House, and a recurring role in the NBC series, Parenthood. She also starred in Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Elena Tyler was Felicity’s dorm mate, lab partner, and close friend. Just like Felicity, Elena was whip smart and focused on doing well at school. Despite the occasional romantic distraction, boyfriends here and there, Elena managed to keep her long-time goal of becoming a doctor her main priority.

Tangi Miller—Now

Tangi Miller continued working steadily as an actress following Felicity, but has not had a regular acting gig since the show. She’s done a few films and made guest appearances on shows like The District, The Division, Living with Fran, and Half & Half. Later this year, Tangi will appear in the romantic comedy movie, The Love Section.

Though she was Felicity’s first friend in college, Julie was also her first rival. At the beginning of the series, the guitar-playing singer and songwriter found herself attracted to Felicity’s crush, Ben, who in turn was attracted to her and wanted to date her. Julie fought her feelings for him out of loyalty to her slightly obsessed, love-struck friend, but when Felicity got involved with Noel, she and Ben eventually ended up dating.

Amy Jo Johnson—Now

After leaving Felicity early, Amy Jo Johnson went on to make guest appearances in ER, Spin City, and Wildfire, which she followed with starring roles in The Division and the recently concluded police procedural, Flashpoint. The multi-talented actress also continued her music career and released a few studio albums—the latest of which will be released this year, entitled Never Broken.

The other boy in the Felicity love triangle was Ben Covington—the crinkly-eyed heartthrob whose charms were apparently so magnetic, they led Felicity to ditch her pre-med plans in Stanford University to follow him to the University of New York. Ben initially doesn’t respond to Felicity’s advances and instead chose to date her best friend, Julie Emrick. He eventually did fall for her and they dated during their sophomore year, but the rocky relationship was punctuated by a lot of breakups here and there, during which he made some bad decisions, like dating a married woman or getting his dad’s AA sponsor pregnant.

Scott Speedman—Now

After Felicity, Speedman won the role of human-turned-werewolf-turned-hybrid Michael Corvin (Kate Beckinsale’s love interest) in the successful Underworld franchise. He also starred in a handful of films, but none as noteworthy as Underworld. Last year, Speedman appeared in The Vow as Rachel McAdams’ ex-fiancé and the prematurely cancelled ABC military drama, Last Resort.

Tracy was Elena Tyler’s virginal boyfriend and eventual fiancé for the latter part of the show. He was known for his fun-loving attitude and exceptional moral compass.

Donald Faison—Now

Just before Felicity was cancelled, Faison was cast as one the leads, Dr. Christopher Turk, in the comedy-drama series Scrubs. He played the role for 10 seasons, and it remains one of his most memorable roles to date. For his latest starring role, Faison appears in TV Land’s sitcom, The Exes, in which he plays one of the leads. He’s also starred in a few films like Uptown Girls, Pitch Perfect, and the upcoming sequel, Kick-Ass 2, and is a prolific TV voice actor—he’s worked on animated shows like Robot Chicken, Kim Possible, American Dad, Zeke and Luther, and Adventure Time.

Sean Blumberg was not a student at the University of New York, but became friends with Felicity and her pals through Ben, who was his roommate in the show’s first season. Sean is known for his enduring relationship with goth Wiccan Meghan Rotundi (whom he later marries) and his crazy inventions and business ideas like edible marzipan boxers, flavored pen caps, and milk-less cereal.

Greg Grunberg—Now

Greg Grunberg continued playing CIA field agent Eric Weiss—a role he had already been playing while he was still on Felicity—in Alias until 2006. He also made guest appearances in TV shows like Lost and House before landing his most famous role to date—the role of mind reader Matt Parkman in Heroes. Grunberg occasionally does voice work for video games, including TimeShift, Halo: Reach, and L.A. Noire. Since last year, the actor has been enjoying a recurring role on Jennifer Love Hewitt’s racy Lifetime series, The Client List.

Javier was Felicity and Ben’s bubbly and friendly boss at the Dean & DeLuca coffee shop, where the two worked part-time. He was gay, had a very strong Spanish accent, and was very likable—a trait that endeared him to Felicity and her friends and promoted the actor who played him, Ian Gomez, from a guest star to a series regular.

Ian Gomez—Now

Though he’s not exactly a household name, Ian Gomez has had a healthy career since Felicity, appearing in quite a number of films like My Big Fat Greek Wedding (which was written by and starring his wife Nia Vardalos), Lindsay Lohan’s Disney original movie Get A Clue, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Connie and Carla, and The Last Shot. In TV, Gomez made guest appearances in The Drew Carey Show, Lost, Heroes, and Reaper. He currently has a steady gig as Andy Torres in Courtney Cox’s Cougar Town.

Noel Crane was the sweet, somewhat geeky RA who harbored a secret crush on Felicity for the initial part of the series, which eventually led to them dating for a while. In ever aspect, Noel was the better choice for Felicity—he’s kind, utterly devoted, and very cute—but she still ended up choosing Ben Covington over him.

Scott Foley—Now

In 2003, one year after the conclusion of Felicity, Scott Foley divorced his first wife, Jennifer Garner, whom he met on the set of the show. He then went on to marry actress Marika Dominczyk, while Garner married her Daredevil co-star, Ben Affleck. Following his stint as Noel Crane, Foley got a recurring role on Scrubs as animal trainer Sean Kelly, and a starring role in the military drama, The Unit. In recent years, the actor has had recurring guest appearances in Cougar Town, Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, and Scandal.

Amy Smart as Ruby in Felicity (1999–2001)

Ruby was one of Noel’s girlfriends after Felicity, who also lived in the same dorm as the rest of the gang. Though quite soft-spoken, Ruby was an aspiring actress, and the two maintained a long-distance romance while she was shooting films on location.

Amy Smart—Now

Smart has had a moderately successful film career since Felicity, appearing in movies like The Butterfly Effect, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, Starsky & Hutch, The Best Man, Just Friends, Mirrors, and both Crank films, in which she plays Jason Statham’s leading lady. She hasn’t done much TV work though—she’s guest-starred in Scrubs, Shameless, and Men at Work, and lent her voice to various characters on Robot Chicken.
