But all of that changed in 1994: As Pulp Fiction's pompadoured, dance-off-winning hit man Vincent Vega, Travolta harnessed a potent mix of nostalgia, husky sex appeal, and Tarantino kitsch to inspire cult fandom and relaunch his career for a new generation.
