If fans of Scotty "the Body" McCreery didn't love him before, this sweet seventh-grade yearbook photo of him will do the trick. The braces! The flat hair! The awkward school smile! What's not to love?

Yep, we were that bored in the computer lab too, Scotty. Perhaps he's daydreaming about becoming the winner of American Idol, having millions of girls adore him, going on to fame and fortune—then again, he's probably just thinking about when the bell will ring.

Anyone who watched American Idol this season knows that Scotty's two passions are singing and baseball. Here, McCreery poses with the Trojans' junior varsity baseball team and looks like he wants to kick some rival-team butt.

McCreery used to impersonate Elvis as a kid and still loves singing his greatest hits. So how awesome was it for him to play Conrad Birdie (inspired by Elvis) in his school's production of Bye Bye Birdie in 2010? We love that he's surrounded by adoring girls. Must feel kinda familiar since winning Idol.

We love seeing the goofy side of McCreery in this pic. Scotty's super-deep bass voice must come in handy while rooting for his teammates. We just wonder if his "Woooo!" sounds eight octaves lower than everyone else.

This is why the ladies go crazy for Scotty! He's adorable, tan, fit, loves to rock a visor (who doesn't love a visor), and is full of school spirit at this pep rally.
