Heather Locklear, Today
In the post-Melrose Place era, Locklear took a turn keeping up her special guest star title by appearing in everything from Ally McBeal to Two and a Half Men, with an extended run on Spin City. In 2009 Locklear reprised her role on the CW’s remodeled version of Melrose Place, but she was a softer, gentler Amanda that surprised and made suspicious the longtime fans of the original series. Ultimately the series was canceled before we could learn if Amanda was just involved in another long con, like when she faked her death to elope with Peter. But Locklear went on to star in two TV movies. Unfortunately these days her headlines feel ripped from a soapy Darren Star plot, as she has battled anxiety, depression, and, it's been speculated, alcoholism.
