Only 8 years old when he joined his brothers in the Jackson 5, Jackson was soon setting chart records with hits such as “I’ll Be There” and “ABC.” In 1979, he released solo album Off the Wall and followed with Thriller in 1983, which is still the best-selling album of all time. The King of Pop died in Los Angeles of an accidental drug overdose on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50.
