A little more than a year after
24 ended its run,
Kiefer Sutherland found himself wooed back to the small screen by Heroes creator Tim Kring’s compelling new mystical father-and-son drama Touch. Kiefer plays Martin Bohm, the father of a seemingly severely autistic young boy who actually may be able to predict the future through numbers and symbols.
On how he knew
Touch was the right project to do, Kiefer reveals, “It was funny. I was doing a play on Broadway. I had a film I knew I was going to do, so I read
Touch almost reluctantly. I wasn’t completely ready to go back to television yet. I was enjoying some different opportunities, but I think it was around page 30 and I remember thinking, 'Oh s***,' because I knew I would be so remiss if I didn’t take the opportunity this was.”
