“Hello, Sidney!” Scream Turns 18, and Snakkle Finds Out Where the Cast Is Today

Cox was already playing type-A Monica Geller on Friends when she took on the over-the-top news anchor Gale Weathers (seriously, did you see those highlights!?), a woman so hell-bent on becoming famous, we wouldn’t have put it past her to be behind the kills simply to get her face on national news.

Courteney Cox—Today

Cox is still intense as Jules Cobb on the ABC comedy Cougar Town, a more mature version of Friends that substitutes giant glasses of wine for extra large mugs of coffee. She also serves as executive producer of the series which is now in its final season.

David Arquette as Deputy Dewey Riley

Dim-witted Deputy Dewey was such comic relief, and so inept on the job, he appeared to be an easy target for the savvy killers. But he managed to come through by the skin of his teeth, charming the audience and at least one costar, as he caught the attention of both Gale Weathers and her portrayer, Courteney Cox.

Arquette, who was voted off in the seventh week of season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, has a few independent films in the works.

Drew Barrymore as Casey Becker

The biggest name in the cast of Scream, Barrymore certainly had the smallest part, getting killed before the opening titles. But it is a scene that would prove to be the most memorable from the entire franchise, as her Casey Becker was tormented, gutted, and then strung up, setting the tone for the murders that would follow.

Barrymore splits her time as an actress, producer, and occasional director. Barrymore served as a producer on the TV series Knife Fight. She was last seen in Blended alongside Adam Sandler. She's slated to star in Miss You Already which is to be released in 2015.

Henry Winkler as Principal Himbry

As Fonzie, he rejected conformity and The Man, but as Principal Himbry, he was the face of conformity and The Man, as the only real authority figure in these kids’ lives. No wonder so many of them turned up on one end or the other of a knife.

Randy was a quick-witted and clever nerd, not the typical whiny and wedgie-deserving kid. This made him a fan favorite, and one you hoped would still be alive by the end credits.

Soft-spoken Sidney Prescott was front and center in every kill, even when the victims were just distant acquaintances. It was always about Sidney, Sidney, Sidney. Few characters can boast that they were the muse for one of pop culture’s most famous killers, but Sidney wins that prize, hands down.

Living a long way from Woodsboro—in London, England—has surely worn off on Campbell. She was in Titanic: Blood and Steel and was most recently seen on an episode of Mad Men.

Rose McGowan as Tatum Riley

Sidney’s snarky best friend Tatum looked like your typical high school cheerleader but was much more into beers and bros. We comfort ourselves by saying that when she died during the pivotal house-party murder scene, she at least did so doing what she loved.

Dubbed a “young Johnny Depp” as Billy Loomis, the vengeance-filled homicidal boyfriend of Sidney, Ulrich brought “bad boy” to a whole new level.
