Although many may remember her as the burn victim in the psychiatric ward in Girl, Interrupted, or as President Bartlet's daughter Zoey on The West Wing, Moss has been working steadily since childhood in movies, television, and commercials. Moss currently stars as Peggy Olson, a woman who was not content to be held back in pursuit of her dreams (even if it means giving up her child). Her relationship with Don is contentious, and her burgeoning romance with her new mentor, Ted, was a conflict of interests. But Peggy seems poised to take over Don's spot.

John Slattery as Roger Sterling in Mad Men

Everyone’s favorite silver fox with the soothing voice is practically unrecognizable in this college photo! Slattery has come a long way and done a lot of great work (remember him on Sex and the City?) since the days when he popped his jean jacket collar. Slattery’s role of Roger Sterling gives him the best one-liners of any character on the show, but he’s so much more than comic relief. Sterling is self-obsessed, selfish, brilliant, and more than a little lost. We've seen him struggle professionally and personally (that baby daddy thing is not likely to go over well). After yet another failed marriage, Sterling is back to his old ways, but learning that he isn't getting any younger.

Ben Feldman as Michael Ginsberg in Mad Men

Feldman joined Mad Men as the brilliant but socially awkward copywriter Michael Ginsberg in Season 5. Ginsberg has continued to grow with SCDP as he wins over clients and partners with his smart ideas. After Ginsberg went off the deep end, we're guessing we're not going to see him in the final season.

Jon Hamm as Don Draper in Mad Men

Hamm loved performing from an early age and attended the University of Missouri on an acting scholarship shortly after this photo was taken. Hamm was primarily known for his comedic acting prior to taking the role of Don Draper, but we are so glad he took this role! His portrayal of Don Draper (a.k.a. Dick Whitman) keeps us on our toes every week. Who is this man behind the handsome face and well-tailored suits? Has he finally tripped himself up for good? Will Sally or any of the women he's betrayed ever forgive him? We’re not sure, but we cannot wait to see how Don keeps pulling himself out of his spiral. Here's hoping he doesn't go back.

Shipka only had a handful of roles as a child actress before landing the part of Sally Draper. And we bet that she was as brilliant in them as she is on Mad Men. Shipka plays the broken daughter of Don and Betty in a painfully beautiful fashion. Week after week has us wanting to rescue her from her parents and give her the love and attention she so desperately craves. Now that she's in boarding school, Sally seems content to make mischief out from under her parents' noses.

Rich Sommer as Harry Crane in Mad Men

Sommer kick-started his career with a small role in the 2006 hit The Devil Wears Prada alongside Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Adrian Grenier. He’s worked steadily in television and film since then and is also a member of the very popular (and talented) Upright Citizens Brigade. As Harry Crane, Sommer is another young man trying to make it in the ever-changing world of advertising. Like Roger, he provides some comic relief, but he's also been developing the media department of the agency, an increasingly relevant aspect of advertising that makes him an increasingly relevant character in the show.

Alison Brie as Trudy Campbell in Mad Men

You may also recognize Brie from NBC's Community where she plays the uptight Annie. On Mad Men, Brie plays the long suffering wife of Pete Campbell. After finally finding out about his philandering ways, Trudy seemingly gets rid of him for good. Hopefully that doesn't mean less Trudy for the rest of us!

One of Hollywood and Broadway’s most prolific actors, Morse has been entertaining audiences since the 1950s. As Bertram Cooper, one of the founding partners of Sterling Cooper, Morse was hilarious, ornery, and a little quirky. Anyone else remember his hatred of shoes? And, Cooper really went out in style didn't he?

Like costar Morse, Staton is a veteran of the stage and performed the role of Sky in Mamma Mia over 400 times on Broadway! Although we don’t get to see the Carnegie Mellon alum sing on Mad Men, Staton is great as the amiable and driven Ken Cosgrove. He’s a perfect foil for Kartheiser’s Pete Campbell, but the poor Ken had better watch his back (and his eye) for any future accounts.

Vincent Kartheiser as Pete Campbell in Mad Men

Working in the entertainment industry since a youngster of 13, Kartheiser has had the opportunity to star alongside some of the greatest actors of our time—including Patrick Stewart in the 1997 film Masterminds. He’s now probably best known for his role of the sniveling, slightly smarmy, and opportunistic Pete Campbell. Although Pete's obviously smart, his personality can sometimes hold him back. But there’s something about Kartheiser’s great performances that has us cheering for and against Campbell. He's made great strides in his career but a series of missteps in his personal life. But if we know anything about Pete Campbell, it's that he never lets anything keep him down.

Christina Hendricks as Joan Harris in Mad Men

Who would have thought that this goth girl at Fairfax High in Virginia would grow up to play one of the most complex female roles on television? Hendricks portrays the brilliant secretary-turned-partner Joan Holloway, who uses her feminine wiles to get what she wants in a man’s world. With a baby to look after, a failed marriage, and ever-present exes in the office, Joan just needs to be swept off her feet (including foot massage).

Jared Harris as Lane Pryce in Mad Men

The London-born Harris has been working steadily in film and TV since the late 1980s, including a starring role in the film B. Monkey alongside Rupert Everett and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. We used to see him every week as Lane Pryce, one of Draper’s partners. Harris played Pryce was somewhat of an enigma, deftly dropping hints of the Brit’s personal life and struggles. Sadly, Pryce meddled with the company's assets and it didn't end well.
