Jack Black as Dewey Finn in School of Rock (2003)

In 2003, Jack Black hit a home run with his side tickling role as Dewey Finn in the hit, musical comedy School of Rock. Dewey, a wannabe (but failed) rockstar, snags a substitute teaching position at a prestigious prep school to start paying off his rent. But after discovering his students' musical talents, Dewey teaches them what he knows: how to rock n' roll.

Jack Black—Now

Jack Black's slapstick, silly comedy made his role as Dewey Finn an unforgettable, even heartwarming one. His blend of sincerity and goofiness as a "teacher" was particularly personal because of his own past struggles with school, eventually excelling in Drama. Considered one of his career-making roles, it earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy. Since then, he's starred in King Kong and voiced the Kung Fu Panda franchise. He has two movies in the works: Sex Tape which is comes out this summer, and Kung Fu Panda 3 for 2015. He has two children with his wife, an accomplished cellist, Tanya.

Kevin Clark as Freddy Jones in School of Rock (2003)

Kevin Clark played the rebellious drummer Freddy "Spazzy McGee" Jones; true to his nickname, he even ran off at one point in the film to hang out with a bunch of "posers" in a van. During filming, at the ripe age of 13, Kevin was actually the oldest amongst his School of Rock classmates. Despite his character only playing percussion because he “couldn’t play anything else," Kevin was already an accomplished drummer in real life, having started on the instrument when he was just five.

Kevin recently graduated college with a degree in music. He currently resides in Chicago and plays for several bands, most notably The Robbie Gold Band. During the School of Rock reunion concert, fans got a real treat when Kevin showed off his impressive drumming skills, never missing a beat.

Rebecca Brown as Katie in School of Rock (2003)

Rebecca Brown's portrayal of the cello-turned-bass playing Katie was a sweet one. You may remember shy Katie puckering her lips with focus as she learned how to rock, properly.

Rebecca Brown—Now

Rebecca (who goes by Becca) currently resides in Chicago and is still "slapping the bass," as well as singing in the band The Brothers StarRace. She also studies acting at UIC, improvisation at The Second City, and performs in the musical sketch show, Cupid Has A Heart On. Becca received some closure at the School of Rock reunion concert when she was finally given her "bass solo" that unfortunately didn't make the final cut of the movie.

Robert Tsai as Lawrence in School of Rock (2003)

Although Robert Tsai's character Lawrence claimed "he wasn't cool enough" to be in a rock band, everyone respectfully disagreed after seeing how amazing he was at piano. A fan favorite amongst viewers (remember his Battle of the Bands costume?!), Robert's portrayal of Lawrence proved that rocking a talent can indeed be cool.

Robert Tsai—Now

After School of Rock, Robert continued his classical piano training throughout high school and college, performing in numerous competitions and concerts. He recently graduated from Dartmouth University and lives in New Jersey. Although Robert's passion mainly lies in classical music, he very much enjoyed rocking out with his School of Rock band mates at the reunion, making the crowd go wild when he displayed Lawrence's signature "finger pointing" choreography.

Brian Falduto as Billy in School of Rock (2003)

Brian Falduto played the sassy band stylist, Billy, who loved glitter, sequins and Liza Minnelli. Probably best remembered for lines like, "You're Tacky and I Hate You," and "I'll Make Up Some Samples," Brian Falduto made Billy unforgettable.

Brian Falduto—Now

Brian currently resides in New York and is finishing up his senior year at Wagner College, majoring in Theatre and Arts. When not in school, he works in Promotions and Event Management at Nash FM 94.7, in addition to helping with other Cumulus Media Inc. company events held by 95.5 WPLJ Radio and WABC Radio. Good news: Brian plans to pursue a professional acting career again once his studies are completed.

Miranda Cosgrove as Summer Hathaway in School of Rock (2003)

Miranda Cosgrove was the youngest cast member of School of Rock. At only nine years old, she shined in her onscreen debut as the precocious Summer Hathaway, stealing the scenes as the strong-willed student who constantly challenged Mr. S and eventually made herself band manager.

Miranda Cosgrove—Now

Like Summer, Miranda is equally ambitious. Following School of Rock, she starred in the popular Nickelodeon show iCarly, in addition to launching a successful music career with pop hits such as "Kissing U" and "Dancing Crazy". However, unlike Summer, Miranda's real life singing voice is more than band-worthy. Since iCarly's last episode in 2012, Miranda hasn't stopped working, most recently voicing Margo in the 2013 hit film Despicable Me 2. Miranda is attending the University of Southern California where she's majoring in Film.

Maryam Hassan as Tomika in School of Rock (2003)

Maryam Hassan played the shy backup singer Tomika who shared her turkey sub with a hungover Mr. S and later impressed him with her “nice pipes” during her singing audition of Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools." Tomika showed tremendous courage by performing for a large crowd, even though she was worried people would make fun of her weight.

Maryam Hassan—Now

Today, Maryam resides in New York and continues to be a rock star in a number of different ways. As a singer/songwriter/dancer, she goes by the name Trayce and is currently working on new music, as well as performing cover songs on her YouTube channel (youtube.com/theytrayceme). In addition to singing, Maryam expresses herself creatively as a makeup artist in Soho for MAC Cosmetics and is putting together a clothing line that she plans to have out by this time next year. With a lot on her plate, Maryam's success is a balancing act and she hopes to receive a recording/writing deal soon.

Aleisha Allen as Alicia in School of Rock (2003)

Aleisha Allen played the feisty backup singer Alicia, who almost brought Mr. S to tears with her rendition of "Amazing Grace." Her braces-filled smile and positive attitude brightened the movie.

Aleisha Allen—Now

Since School of Rock, Aleisha has continued to work in the entertainment industry, most notably starring as Lindsay in the Ice Cube films "Are We There Yet?" and its sequel "Are We Done Yet?." She recently graduated from college with honors and currently resides in New York where she’s a singer, dancer, actress, public/key note speaker, event host, and speech-language therapist. This cast certainly didn't lack in real life talent!

Caitlin Hale as Marta in School of Rock (2003)

Caitlin Hale played the adorable backup singer, Marta. "Blondie," as Mr. S called her, always wore her hair in long braids à la Heidi and one of her greatest inspirations was Christina Aguilera, which she was happy to tell anyone. Probably best remembered for melodically correcting Jack Black during his impromptu math song, Marta had spunk.

Caitlin Hale—Now

Caitlin recently graduated cum laude from Arizona State University where she majored in Journalism and Mass Communications and has now decided to pursue her true passion of acting again. With brains, beauty and talent, we look forward to seeing Caitlin on the silverscreen soon!

Joey Gaydos Jr. as Zack in School of Rock (2003)

Joey Gaydos Jr. starred as the guitar strumming Zack "Zack Attack" Mooneyham who shot back at his strict father by ditching classical music in favor of some good old-fashioned rock n’ roll! Not only did his Zack pen the title song which the band performed at the Battle of the Bands, but he also taught a whole generation to "Step Off."

Joey Gaydos Jr.—Now

Currently residing in Detroit, Joey never gave up his love of music: he now plays lead guitar in the band Stereo Jane. But we're guessing Joey isn't keeping any more "secret songs" in his back pocket, just in case. During the School of Rock reunion, he wowed the crowd when he and Jack Black went head to head in a staggering guitar off!

Jordan-Claire Green as Michelle in School of Rock (2003)

Jordan-Claire Green and Veronica Afflerbach played Michelle & Elani, the band's "groupies". When Summer was promoted to Band Manager, these two were given the sole responsibility of naming the band. After The Bumblebees, The Koala Bears and (Michelle's suggestion) Pig Rectum got rejected by Mr. S., they finally came up with "School of Rock"...and the rest was musical history.

Jordan-Claire Green—Now

After "graduating" from the School of Rock, Jordan-Claire continued to work steadily in film & television before taking a break to further her education and enrolled at Texas Christian University. Now, she can be found working as a registered nurse in a Neonatal ICU, while still continuing to pursue her lifelong dream of being an actress.

Veronica Afflerbach as Eleni in School of Rock (2003)

Veronica Afflerbach played Elani, one the band's "groupies." She and Michelle brainstormed the name "School of Rock" and helped provide some much-needed support when morale was low.

Veronica Afflerbach—Now

Veronica currently resides in Miami where she’s pursuing a career in the hair and makeup industry. Ten years later, she and Jordan-Claire Green (the band's "groupies") turned heads at the reunion. Veronica graciously showed off her beautiful new tattooed artwork on her arms, and her different hair color! Like some of her fellow cast mates, her creative expression can't be contained.

Zachary Infante as Gordon in School of Rock (2003)

Band rule of thumb: you'll never have a psychedelic show without a first-rate roadie crew. Good thing the band had Gordon and Marco. Zachary Infante played Gordon, the computer whiz whose improvisational skills on lighting techniques during the last minute song change proved to be a game changer.

Zachary Infante—Now

Zachary was very popular amongst his School of Rock cast mates as he had a reputation on set as being one of the most fun. Even though Gordon was more behind the scenes, Zachary is actually a talented onstage performer in real life. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and currently rests his head in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He was in Tony Award Winning director Julie Taymor's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. His work with the not-for-profit children's cancer organizations like The Sunshine Kids, and The Valerie Fund, remind him (and others) to live life with courage and dignity.

James Hosey as Marco in School of Rock (2003)

Gordon and Marco made up the band's first rate roadie crew. They had specialty skills that added drama and theater elements to the show-stopping final scene of the film... like when red-headed roadie Marco, played by James Hosey, used dry ice for added production value.

James Hosey—Now

Currently residing in Larchmont, New York, James is now a music producer who runs his own company called Diesel Beats and works with artists such as Mistah F.A.B. and J.R. Writer. Here's a fun fact: he was actually the final kid cast in the film as he was a last minute replacement the day before shooting! Guess he was pre-destined to rock!

Cole Hawkins as Leonard in School of Rock (2003)

Angelo Massagli & Cole Hawkins played Frankie & Leonard, the band's security detail. Their job was to make sure no one outside the classroom knew what Mr. S was really teaching the kids each and every day…Rock music! You may remember Frankie calling Miss Mullens "the man" and Leonard delivering the saddest line in the film,“You mean we’re not in the band?”

Cole Hawkins—Now

Cole was also a veteran upon his enrollment into the School of Rock with supporting roles in Big Daddy and Meet The Parents. Like Angelo, Cole is also a Boston resident and is at Northeastern University with a major in Sociology. In addition to his studies Cole is actually a very talented chef and in the process of creating a food blog/baking company. Funnily enough, his cast mate Angelo is also at the same school, so students can rest assured the “School of Rock security squad” is keeping the campus safe.

Angelo Massagli as Frankie in School of Rock (2003)

Angelo Massagli played Frankie, one half of the band's funny security team. They used cameras and street smarts to track Miss Mullens' movements and make sure the band was allowed to rock in peace. That makes sense, right?

Angelo Massagli—Now

Outside of School of Rock, most people recognize Angelo from his stint as young Bobby Jr. on The Sopranos from 2002 to 2007. Like Cole, he currently resides in Boston and is at Northeastern University, studying English and minoring in Business & Law.
