Talented actor Kevin Spacey has said he had an acting breakthrough moment in the auditorium of Chatsworth High School. "The first little bits of confidence and self-esteem that I began to obtain happened in this room. I can actually pinpoint the moment I realized I no longer wanted to be an actor; I was an actor." Spacey clearly wasn’t a theater space cadet, having shared the stage with fellow actor and friend Val Kilmer—both of them get an A-plus for A-list status and post-high-school Hollywood success.

Robert Downey Jr., Charlie Sheen, and Sean Penn were all buddies while attending Santa Monica High School together in the early '80s. While Downey Jr. and Sheen have had their fair share of bad press and stints in rehab, Downey Jr. seems to have come out on top with a strong career comeback as the hit Marvel superhero Iron Man. Sheen, however, hasn’t been “winning” as much lately since his abrupt departure from the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men.

While Gaga has admitted she never really knew the Hiltons while attending Convent of the Sacred Heart, she did say they were nonetheless influential. “I actually only went with Nicky.... But, you know, it's impressive to be that perfect all the time, these girls. I was always a weird girl in school, who did theater and came to school with lots of red lipstick on or my hair perfectly curled, or whatever I was doing to get attention.” Sounds about right.

High school to red-carpet friends, Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler attended Crossroads together in Santa Monica, California.
