Considered an innovator of punk rock, Iggy was known for his unpredictable onstage antics, including vomiting and rolling in glass. He has since sought treatment for heroin addiction in Berlin in the '70s, and in 1995 Pop had an article published in a journal called Classics Ireland. No, really! He's also pals with Johnny Depp.

Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe in 1983 and Now

Sixx is the bassist of Mötley Crüe, the rock band he founded with bad boy drummer Tommy Lee in 1981. With songs like “Shout at the Devil” and “Girls, Girls, Girls” Sixx was destined to get into something…. Unlike his bandmates, Nikki Sixx became addicted to heroin and wrote in his book The Heroin Diaries: "Alcohol, acid, cocaine... they were just affairs. When I met heroin it was true love." He estimates he overdosed "about half a dozen times." In 2004, Sixx declared himself sober, and dated tattoo artist Kat Von D from 2008 to 2010. Their split was one of the most amicable and friendly in Hollywood, according to the respectful Twitter messages sent to each other following the news of the breakup.

Thanks to reality TV, we all know that Ozzy Osbourne today loves nothing more than to settle down on his sofa in front of the History Channel sipping a Diet Coke. Pink in 2000 and Now

Alecia Beth Moore, better known by her stage name Pink, burst onto the scene with her party-ready anthem "Get the Party Started." Though she has previously admitted taking illegal drugs and fostered a wild rebel image, she curtailed her alcohol use in past years, citing it has a negative impact on her performances and that she hates hangovers. The mom of 3-year-old Willow Sage also revealed recently how she stopped drinking and smoking altogether in order to better care for her daughter. WTG, Pink!

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith in 1984 and Now

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry were once so into drugs and drinking they were dubbed the Toxic Twins in the 1970s and 1980s. While Tyler's last rehab stint was in 2009, when he was treated for an addiction to prescription painkillers resulting from years of performance injuries, rumors surfaced that he may have relapsed again when he passed out in the shower in 2011, breaking his front teeth. He says he was and still is sober and was just suffering from food poisoning when he fell. He was one of our favorite and most outlandish American Idol judges!
