Third Doctor (1970 – 1974): Jon Pertwee
Before stepping into the Tardis: Pertwee was best known to audiences in the horror classic The House That Dripped Blood, co-starring Vincent Price and Christopher Lee, as well as the comedy A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. His turn on the small screen included Brit series Jackanory and the title role of Worzel Gummidge.
After his stint as Time Lord: Pertwee returned to the role of Worzel Gummidge after his time travels.
