On Rosie O’Donnell’s 50th Birthday, Snakkle Celebrates Her Most Memorable Moments
Everyone knows that Rosie O'Donnell is having a seriously successful show business career; the proof is that everyone knows who Rosie O'Donnell is. Still, it's easy to forget how varied O'Donnell's career has been. She started as a stand-up comic, became a successful stage and film actress, talk-show host, best-selling author, editor of her own magazine, documentary film producer, businesswoman, blogger, philanthropist.... She's one of the few celebrities who actually has "done it all." Ms. O'Donnell turns 50 on March 21, and we wish her the happiest of birthdays and hope she has many more years—and careers—ahead. It was all smiles when Rosie O’Donnell joined The View in 2006 as a cohost and moderator, replacing Meredith Vieira. The thing is, when you hire Rosie O’Donnell, you get Rosie O’Donnell. That was a good thing for ratings, which skyrocketed during Rosie’s run. Not everyone was pleased, however.
