As a senior at Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, the young Jack Kemp was more focused on athletics than a future political life. When the American Football League was founded, he became a San Diego Charger and was later snagged by the Buffalo Bills, where he led them to several championships. Plus: He made the AFL All-Star team seven times.
