Who Am I? Glee A-List Guest Stars Before They Were Stars
As the first widely successful television musical, Ryan Murphy’s Glee has managed to attract a long list of celebrity guest stars. Everyone from Broadway veterans to long-time television personalities and A-List international names made pit stops in Lima, Ohio and McKinley High. By Danielle TurchianoThough Jeff Goldblum started acting in the 1970s, he is best known for his 1980s roles in The Big Chill and the cult hit The Fly and his 1990s roles in the Jurassic Park franchise and the action blockbuster Independence Day—all films which Glee’s core audience is too young to have caught in theaters, let alone on traditional rental platforms. But he is a rock star all anew to the Glee audiences for being one half of Rachel Berry’s parental unit. In the season 3 episode “Heart,” Gleeks everywhere finally met Hiram Berry, and considering just how supportive he was of Rachel’s career over her love life, we have to imagine he’ll pop up at some point in season 4 to visit his beloved daughter chasing her dreams in New York City.
