Keanu Reeves in Parenthood (1989)
Parenthood found Keanu Reeves still doing the “dude” thing that he perfected in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989). Keanu played Tod, an initially disruptive presence in Helen’s household who shows that he can be helpful, especially when it comes to the troubled Garry. Or, as Tod wisely intones, “That is one messed-up little dude.” Dude. So true.
