Snakkle Exclusive! Catching Up with the Original Cast of Parenthood
The 1989 film Parenthood, directed by Ron Howard and written by the incomparable team of Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel, was well-received and spawned two television series, one of which will soon begin a fourth season on NBC. What have the original cast members been up to? Snakkle got a bunch of the actors together to find out, and we've got the exclusive photos to prove it! By Brett Singer

Ivyann Schwan in Parenthood (1989)
Ivyann Schwan was very good at a task that every child star had to excel at in the ’80s—screaming. In this clip, Ivyann’s character, Patty Huffner, becomes a tad frightened when she thinks that Gil Buckman (Steve Martin) has a magic thumb. And by “a tad frightened,” we mean “loses her freaking mind.”
