Paula Abdul went from geeking out in her high school Science Club in 1980 to becoming a beloved pop star. Guess all that time in the lab helped Paula find the formula for fame to help her make the leap from Lakers cheerleader to pop sensation to reality-show judge. Abdul was also the class president and on both the science and debate teams, and even played the flute in her school’s band.
