Brian Dunkleman is a comedian/actor who first rose to prominence as Ryan Seacrest’s cohost during the first season of American Idol. He quit—or was pushed out, according to some—after the first season. After the show went on to enormous popularity and great success for Seacrest, Dunkleman admitted, years later, that it had been a mistake to leave the show.
