Stars Knew How to Work a ’Stache with Panache Before They Were Famous
At some point or another, every guy thinks, “I bet I’d look awesome if I just grew out this thing...” and of course, cute as they may be, they’re not always right. Then again, some stars rock their mustaches so hard, they look, frankly, kind of naked without them. However, in Movember it doesn't matter whether or not if a guy is pulling off his 'stache, it's the statement he's making about men's health. The mustache has come and gone over the years—check out the vintage goatee in this 1994 Mötley Crüe rehearsal footage—but Lee has worn it with pride. In addition to his solo work, he releases music as Methods of Mayhem, tours with his dance-music collaborator DJ Aero, and still performs with Mötley Crüe. His book Tommyland came out in 2005, and he has appeared on TV shows including Bones, Tosh.O, and Californication. His reality series Battleground Earth pitted him against rapper Ludacris in eco-challenges to bring attention to environmental issues.
