Sonny Bono was like a lot of kids who grow up in Los Angeles: He got into the biz early, working as a promoter for infamous music producer Phil Spector. It wouldn’t be until Sonny met his muse and future wife Cher that he’d become a famous musician and entertainer in his own right. With duets like “I Got You Babe” and “The Beat Goes On,” the pair quickly became a power couple.
