20 Years of Soul Singing: Snakkle Catches Up with the Stars of Sister Act
Has it really been 20 years since Whoopi Goldberg and friends shook it up as the sisters with soul in Sister Act? The 1992 comedy starred Goldberg as Deloris van Cartier, a Reno (not even Vegas—ouch) lounge singer who is on the run from her mobster boyfriend Vince LaRocca (Harvey Keitel). When Deloris hides out in a convent, hilarity and singing ensue. The film was a huge box office success, eventually grossing over $200 million worldwide.
