Cameron Diaz in Her Hollywood Glam
When Cameron Diaz took the role of Lotte Schwartz in Being John Malkovich, there was little physical description of the character. She and director Spike Jonze worked on the character’s look together. Her makeover was so complete that she was rarely recognized when in character: “I didn’t realize that people weren’t going to recognize me until I put the costume on and I stood around talking to people working the production. I just assumed they knew it was me, but they thought I was a stranger.” Cameron has since been much more recognizable in Bad Teacher, What to Expect When You’re Expecting and most recently in The Counselor.
