THEN: Lillian Muller was responsible for moving a lot of atomic mass when she strutted her stuff in a bikini as the chemistry teacher in Van Halen’s hit “Hot For Teacher.”
-
-
Muller swears she’s never seen her Van Halen video. Maybe that’s because she’s busy concentrating on a more serious career path. Muller’s still a model (and fit: the proof is in this fitness pic on her website), but she’s added author, motivational speaker and fitness guru to her resume. Fans can reach her via her website: www.lillianmuller.com

THEN: A gritty-looking Billy Joel did his best to win over Christy Brinkley’s sophisticated character in the “Uptown Girl” video.
-
-
In real life, Joel did win Brinkley over, but they called off their nine-year marriage in 1994. Most recently the model suffered through a long and nasty divorce to her fourth husband Peter Cook. They officially divorced in 2008 but they still occasionally spar over child support and other issues. In April 2012 Brinkley joined the Broadway cast of Chicago for a short time and focused her energy on reprising her role of murderess Roxie Hart. She also took part in the touring production of the play. Brinkley did a guest role on Parks and Recreation as Jerry’s stunning wife.

THEN: Who could forget Michael Jackson’s freaked out girlfriend (when Michael turned into a zombie in the epic music video), played by Ola Ray, in the iconic video for “Thriller” back in 1983.
-
-
In the late ‘80s and ‘90s, Ray did her best to cash in on her video fame. The result was a series of small parts in movies like 48 Hrs. and Beverly Hills Cop II, as well as TV shows ranging from Gimme a Break! to the prestigious TV series Cheers. She briefly made headlines in 2009 when she sued Jackson, just a month before the icon died, claiming unpaid royalties her appearance in the “Thriller” video. She was finally paid $75,000 in January 2013.

THEN: Mak Gilchrist was one of the lookalike well made-up members of Robert Palmer’s faux back-up band in the “Addicted to Love” video that rocked MTV in 1986. (She played the bassist.) “I remember feeling an acute sense of embarrassment when I first saw how sexy the video was,” Gilchrist has confessed in the press. Fun fact: the “band” was film separately from Robert and then edited into the video to appear behind him.

THEN: Frequent Whitesnake video spitfire Tawny Kitaen must have really known what she was doing when she writhed around on top of front man David Coverdale’s Jaguar in the video for “Here I Go Again.” The two got married, but split after just two years together.

THEN: While maybe she did not play a vixen, many fell in love with the stunning good looks of the young model who appeared in The Cars 1984 video “Drive.” Paulina Porizkova was just 19 when she starred as a mentally unbalanced patient in The Car’s Timothy Hutton-directed video. Five years later, she wed the group’s lead singer Ric Ocasek.

Porizkova’s days of mega-million modeling contracts are over. Now she bounces between odd jobs – she was hired and fired as a judge on America’s Next Top Model and she’s also been on Dancing with the Stars. She’s also become a published novelist and even blogs for The Huffington Post. Wed in 1989, Paulina and Cars singer Ric Ocasek. still enjoy a stable marriage and have 2 teen sons together.
