Kevin James
Before being crowned The King of Queens, Kevin James did stand-up on Star Search. (James actually hails from Long Island, which is at least close to Queens.) Thanks to Paul Blart: Mall Cop, James is one of the biggest comedy stars in the world and still performs live, although his audiences are a bit bigger than they were when he first began.
