After MWC, Jovovich landed some memorable roles in Kuffs and Dazed and Confused. But it was her role as Leeloo in the 1997 sci-fi hit The Fifth Element that took the model-turned-actress’s career to a whole new level. Jovovich starred in The Resident Evil saga, of which the most recent installment was released in September of 2012. She continues to act and currently lives a bi coastal LA-NYC life with her husband, film writer-director Paul W. S. Anderson.
