Mariska Hargitay played Melissa, an actress who auditions to play the “Elaine” role on Jerry’s TV show. Jerry, of course, takes an immediate liking to her. George does not. Hargitay is best known for playing the bad-ass Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU.
