Only a year after this picture was taken, Jason Alexander would be making his Broadway debut—in a Sondheim musical. Merrily We Roll Along closed after only 16 performances, but Alexander went on to Jerome Robbins’ Broadway. He nabbed a Tony Award for his work, which included a performance as Pseudolus from another Sondheim musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
