Snakkle Exclusive! Catching Up with the Original Cast of Parenthood
The 1989 film Parenthood, directed by Ron Howard and written by the incomparable team of Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel, was well-received and spawned two television series, one of which will soon begin a fourth season on NBC. The original film was an emotional roller coaster that captured what having kids is actually like, which is, well, a roller coaster ride. (It's in the movie, go watch it again.) What have the original cast members been up to? Snakkle got a bunch of the actors together to find out, and we've got the exclusive photos to prove it! By Brett Singer

Rick Moranis in Parenthood (1989)
Oh, man. Nathan Huffner. Look up “crazy father” in a movie dictionary (which we don’t think exists, but it should) and you’ll find his picture. Rick Moranis is eminently dislikable playing a dad who treats his daughter Patty like his personal Petri dish. Of course, by the end, he turns things around by singing sweetly to his wife in front of a class full of kids. Who could hate a guy after he does that?
