HOT GALLERY: Get to Know the Remaining Contestants on Dancing with the Stars Before They Were Famous
Are you dazzled by sequins? Is your heart set aflutter by sexy sambas and salsas? Then you’re probably already watching season 14 of Dancing with the Stars—and if you’re not, you should. Several fan favorites have already been eliminated (including Motown legend Gladys Knight), but the seven remaining contestants are showing off some mad dance skills—and some big personalities. So who will emerge victorious? Here’s our look at the remaining contestants—and their chances to win. By Nina Hämmerling SmithHis most famous role may have been a supremely dorky and unconfident guy, but Jaleel White is not that guy. White was already a showbiz vet by the time he become the bespectacled, clumsy, nasally Steve Urkel (“Did I do that?”) on Family Matters, having appeared in countless guest spots and commercials. That adorable little guy grabbing the Oreo out of the middle of the stack? That’s White. And swinging-and-singing for Toys “R” Us? Yup, that’s him. And Uh-oh’ing for SpaghettiOs? That’s him too. He was also later the voice of Sonic on the Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, and is currently hosting the spooky new Syfy network game show Total Blackout.
Will He Win? White’s partner, Kym Johnson, is already a two-time champ, having won with partner Donny Osmond (season 9) and Hines Ward (season 12). White and Johnson earned their highest marks from the judges this past week, for their cha-cha performed to the Temptations’ live rendition of “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” but White’s scores have been up and down; he has to keep up the level of performance and choreography from week to week to have a shot at making it to the finale.
