Happy Birthday, Joan Cusack! You Make Every Movie Better by Being in It
If there is anyone out there that doesn't appreciate Joan Cusack... honestly, we can't think of anything to tell such a person, other than, "Huh?" The lovely and preposterously talented Ms. Cusack has been consistently excellent since her first film appearance way back in 1980. She also seems like someone who leads a normal life off-camera; this clip of Joan promoting Mars Needs Moms is a great example. On the occasion of her 50th birthday, here is a Snakkle look at a few of our favorite Joan roles, both large and small. By Brett Singer
Joan Cusack in Addams Family Values (1993)
If you’ve never seen Addams Family Values and don’t want the ending spoiled, don’t watch this clip of Cusack as Debbie Jellinsky. If you have already enjoyed Joan’s hilarious turn as a sort of addition to the Addams clan from back in 1993, then watching it won’t spoil anything, so go ahead, because it’s funny. Here is a not-safe-for-work clip of Debbie seducing Fester that showcases Joan’s sexy side and isn’t so such of a spoiler. We’re serious, though, it’s not work-safe. But it is funny and Joan looks great.
