Before They Were Stars
HOT GALLERY: Like Father, Like Son—Guess These Sporty Father/Son Combos Before They Were Stars
"I'm gonna be like you, dad..." Harry Chapin wasn't singing about father and son athletes in his classic tune "Cat's in the Cradle", but he could have been. The song wouldn't have been quite so ironic, though. Most fathers would love to see their sons follow in their footsteps, especially if those footsteps lead to the field of professional sports. Here are some of our favorite father and son athlete combos. By Brett Singer

Ken and Ken Griffey Jr. (MLB)—Now
If you look at those older pics side by side, one might think the two Ken Griffeys were brothers rather than father and son. Griffey and Griffey Jr. even played on the same Seattle Mariners team for awhile, and in 1990 became the first father and son to hit back to back home runs.

Man, dream life. Taking off in a plane and landing soehemwre remote where you have your own ranch or beach house with a landing strip (this plane can probabily land/take off on a big bigger backyard). And love the look of the jet. Looks muscular and just the right size not to be too difficult to fly and probabily still not too big to use the parachute.
