As the pseudo-villain of the cast, Lauren Lane was perfectly annoying as C.C. Babcock, Maxwell Sheffield’s egocentric, supercilious, and impeccably dressed blonde business associate. Due to her unrequited crush on Maxwell, C.C. was often antagonistic to Fran, whom she viewed as a rival for his affections.
