Where Are They Now: Snakkle Catches Up with the Cast of Napoleon Dynamite Before The New Animated Series Premiere!
A presidential election year is upon us. How better to celebrate democracy than to remember the candidate who supports truth, justice, and tater tots? Napoleon Dynamite is the 2004 cult classic about a 16-year-old boy with a love of ligers and his own “sweet” abilities. Now he has been animated for the small screen by 20th Century Fox TV, reuniting original cast members Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, Jon Gries, Tina Majorino, Aaron Ruell, Deidrich Bader, Haylie Duff, and Sandy Martin. But what have Napoleon, Deb, and the gang been up to since that last, fateful tetherball game at sunset? Get ready to bust out some serious dance moves—Snakkle has caught up with the cast before the animated version premieres January 15 at 8:30 pm/ET on Fox. By Katherine Butler

Efren Ramirez—Today
A lifelong actor, Ramirez chose Napoleon Dynamite over the big-budgeted 2004 film The Alamo. Since then, he has appeared on the small screen on shows such as Scrubs, American Dad!, MADtv, and Eastbound and Down. He will return to the big screen in 2012 in Will Ferrell’s Casa de Mi Padre.
