Following the cancellation of Living Single, Kim Fields got into singing and rapping, and at one point, after dyeing her hair platinum blonde, she began performing under the stage name “Blondielocks.” But her foray into music was short-lived, and she has since ventured into directing. Kim directed episodes for TV shows such as Nickelodeon sitcom Kenan & Kel, Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and BET’s Let’s Stay Together. As for acting, she appeared in the star-studded 2012 film, What to Expect When You’re Expecting and the 2014 TV movie For Better or for Worst.
