A veteran of both film and television, Skerrit has portrayed memorable characters like Viper in Top Gun, Drum in Steel Magnolias, once again husband to Sally Field as William Walker in Brothers and Sisters, and a four-year stint as Sheriff Brock on Picket Fences. Next up, the romantic comedy Admissions, due out next year.
