The youngest sibling in a showbiz family, Arquette had appeared in a couple of short-lived TV series (the original Parenthood and the film offshoot The Outsiders) when he was cast in Buffy as Benny, the buddy (turned vampire) of Buffy’s romantic interest, Pike.
