Rock stars and maniacal masters of metal are supposed to act wild, crazy, and out of control, right? Since the beginning of rock 'n' roll, many stars onstage have had their lives spiral out of control due to too much drinking and/or drugs. However, we rarely hear about many of these talented stars who settle down to care of new families or work with charities and organizations that seem to give them as much joy as playing any stadium. Iggy Pop in 1978 and Now
Considered an innovator of punk rock, Iggy was known for his unpredictable onstage antics, including vomiting and rolling in glass. He has since sought treatment for heroin addiction in Berlin in the ’70s, and in 1995 Pop had an article published in a journal called Classics Ireland. No, really! He’s also pals with Johnny Depp.
